Hello oppo!

I’m not from the states, so the whole recall thing is pretty uncommon where i live. So I was wondering, in the dieselgate case, what if I don’t take my TDI VW for recall procedures? Will I face penalties/fines?

VW basically cheated their way through the EPA to make their TDI cars looked cleaner than they actually are. I don’t know if other countries will follow suit but if you’re in the US and own a TDI, well it sucks for you at the moment

In many states, you can be prevented from being able to re-register your car if you do not follow a recall.

It was a hypothetical question:)

It was interesting for me, will the owner be able to remain previous HP/torque figures and continue polluting

My car definetly won’t be recalled
